The short version: Cologra is one purchase. $9.99, once, and the whole app is yours forever. No subscription, no account, no ads, and nothing to cancel.
Try it first — ten runs, no card
You get ten free runs before anything is asked of you. Not ten days — ten actual runs, so a rainy fortnight or a rough week costs you nothing. The app tells you how many you have left, out loud as well as on screen, so the end of the trial is never a surprise.
A run has to last a couple of minutes to count. Tapping start by mistake and stopping again does not spend one.
Then $9.99, once
One payment unlocks everything: the treasure hunt, the spoken coaching, offline maps, the neural voice, the coverage map, ghost races, the safety warnings — all of it. There is no feature behind a second wall, and there is no "pro" edition.
That last part matters more than it sounds. Cologra is built for runners who cannot watch a screen, and charging extra for the spoken guidance they depend on would be indefensible. So everyone pays once and everyone gets everything.
About subscriptions, plainly
We expect to add subscription tiers later, for things that do not exist yet — an account, leaderboards among friends, coaching that adapts to your training. This purchase is not one of them.
What you buy today keeps working, unchanged, forever. It does not become a trial of something else. If you never subscribe to anything, nothing you already have is taken away, and if you subscribe later and then stop, you still keep everything you bought here.
We are writing that down before there is anything to sell, because a promise made afterwards is worth less.
The price you actually pay
$9.99 is the United States price. The App Store and Google Play set the equivalent in your own currency for your country, and that is the figure the app shows you — always the amount you will be charged, in your money, before you decide.
Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. Cologra never sees your card, and because the app has no account, a purchase is tied to your App Store or Google Play account rather than to anything we hold. Reinstall, or move to a new phone, and Restore purchases brings it back.
Refunds
Refunds go through the store that took the payment — Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google through Play's order history. If something is wrong with the app itself, please write to us first: support@vortas.io. We would rather fix it.
Still in beta
Cologra is in private beta and free during the beta. Beta testers keep their access when pricing begins — you will not be asked to pay for what you already helped test.
